Grapefruit Sage Mimosa

TGIT!! (Thank God It's Thursday?) After a long week, I am so looking forward to the weekend as I'm sure many of you are.. It's my favourite time to relax, enjoy a cocktail or two, and indulge in a nice big brunch.

I've always been a lover of brunch because for one, it's socially acceptable to have cocktails in the morning, and two, because breakfast food is the best kind of food.

Whether it's smoked salmon eggs benny or blueberry pancakes, there is nothing better than a big old fashioned breakfast with a glass of freshly squeezed grapefruit juice to start your Saturday morning.. unless of course that grapefruit juice is topped with some crisp, cold bubbly!

These mimosas not only look pretty as ever, but they are also a surprisingly delightful change from the classic bubbly and OJ...and they're not as sweet, either!

With a dash of sage infused simple syrup, these mimosas have a mouth-watering savoury component but are well balanced with the juicy acidity from the grapefruit.

This cocktail is fresh and bubbly and is the perfect pairing for your next breakfast. Try it this weekend!
